Whale, hello there!

I'm Matthew, a board game designer, father of four, and Christian. I founded MaKa Games in 2020 with one simple goal: to create the kinds of games my family loves to play and share that joy with others.

In 2024, I successfully launched my first board game, License to Krill, followed by INKtentions in 2025.

When I'm not designing games, I work as a Senior Technical Support Engineer for a communications company, where I help technicians troubleshoot intercom communication systems. I'm fascinated by the unique intersection of engineering and creativity, and to me, board games are where those two worlds come together in the most rewarding way.
